Built To Last

No compromises on materials and hardware.

At Fred's Custom Cabinets we won't settle for anything that would shorten the lifespan of your cabinets. Our goal is to build everything to last. Years?.... no, decades and we have done just that. We have customers with our woodworking decades old and still going. From construction design and materials, we take all steps to make sure your investment is here to stay.

Top of the line hardware.

Salice hinges

Ever open your door and see a tiny hinge doing all the work? Resulting in half-open or sagging doors. We use a very durable and strong hinge in all of our cabinetry.

  • 6-way adjustable
  • Push button removable
  • Soft close

Accuride drawer slides

Nothing is more frustrating then a bad drawer slide. Work in the kitchen needs to be efficient and the hardware needs to standup to years of work.

  • 100lb load weight
  • full extension - see everything in your drawer
  • Ball bearing system - smooth and dependable.

Woodworking done right.

Your investment deserves the right joinery and workmanship. We put a great deal of pride in our woodworking. We know it has to be done a certain way. We know it will last.

Solid Hardwood Face-frames

Our face-frames are built tough, keeping your cabinet square for years. Utilizing pocket-hole assembly and top grade hardwood to make the strongest frame. All cutout with an NC saw system for accuracy everytime.

Rabbets and Dadoes everywhere

We don't like butt joints, they just aren't as strong. When the structure needs to hold up you need something better than just butt it and nail it. It takes extra time to build this way. But, our customers deserve the attention to detail.

Dovetail Drawers

Using great hardware isn't enough to make a drawer that will last. We use dovetail joinery to make sure the box stays square. Dadoed bottom of the drawer so it never sags. All cutout with CNC equipment ensuring a perfect fit.

Why so many clamps?

When the face-frame meets the cabinet box is a tricky area. Many choose to leave a scribe on the finished end or cut a grove to hide the joint. We cut it flush exposing the joint for all to see. So, why so many clamps? To make an invisible joint between box and frame. Sometimes using 40+ steel pipe clamps, spending half a day under pressure, we know our frame will never come apart and looks clean and seamless.

Drawer parts fresh off the CNC router.

Yes, there are a lot of them. But, it's worth it!
